How to Take Care of Your Interior Textiles

Read carefully care label in the product before washing. All instructions below are advisory.

BED SPREADS
Wash in 30o or 40o C according to care label’s instructions in big washing machine.  Shape as wet. Use 1/3 quantity of laundry detergent. Bed spreads made of silk are recommended to wash with dry cleaning in the laundry.

THROWS
Throws with tassels are recommended to wash with dry cleaning in the laundry. Washing with water is possible with most of the materials, if tassels are removed for washing. Tips from laundry: wrap tassels inside crape tissue, tie with a band and they will stand washing better.

DECORATIVE CUSHIONS
Often is enough only to wash the shell. Wash in 30o or 40o C or dry clean according to care label’s instructions.  If you want to wash also inner cushion, use  40o C  program.

BED LINENS AND TOWELS
Wash in 60o C according to care label’s instructions. Tumble dry is allowed. Products are recommended to be washed before first use. Wash products with  Swarovski crystals in laundry bag or reversed. Do not wring products with Swarovski crystals.

CURTAINS
Often it is enough to give fresh air to the curtains.  Wash in 30o or 40o C or dry clean according to care label’s instructions.  Gentle slinging. Silk curtains can be gently ironed or steamed, other curtains according to care label’s instructions.

BLANKETS AND PILLOWS
Turn over and give air to pillows on regular basis. Wash in 40o or 60o C according to care label´s instructions.  
Use 1/3 quantity of laundry detergent when washing pillows and blankets.  Shape as wet.

BED SKIRTS AND GABLE HOODS
Wash according to care label’s instructions.  

INNER CUSHIONS
Inner cushions which are sold separately  40 o  washing. Fire safe inner cushions can be also tumble dried inside laundry bag. Use 1/3 quantity of laundry detergent when washing cushions. Shape as wet.
